The Caltignaga power plant covers 3,9 hectares of land and has a capacity of 0.98MWp. Annual electricity production is approximately 1,1GWh.

The plant benefits from the Feed-in Tariffs granted by the Italian government, as defined in the decree by the Ministry for Economical Development, known as Conto Energia 4. The power plant commenced commercial production in September 2011.
